Village at Mammoth -- It was an important day for the Intrawest Corporation and for the Town of Mammoth Lakes Oct. 11, 2000. The largest single development proposal in the history of Mammoth opened for public testimony before the Planning Commission.
Changes to the specific plan were brought forward. The proposed project and changes to the specific site plan were announced by town staff. The meeting was then opened up for public testiomy. There were a lot of people who spoke.
The meeting has been continued to October 23.
It appears that most of the difficulties are going to be addressed and worked out between the town and Intrawest.
